Description

Day 1: Arrival in Tel Aviv and Gardens
Arrive in Tel Aviv with a private airport transfer. Visit the Roman ruins, theater, and aqueduct of Caesarea, an ancient port city. Continue to Haifa to see the Baha'i Gardens. The day concludes with a welcome dinner at your hotel in Nazareth.

Day 2: Sea of Galilee
Drive to Capernaum, a fishing village where Jesus lived after Nazareth, touring the ancient synagogue. Enjoy a private cruise on the Sea of Galilee. On the return to Nazareth, visit a Franciscan church built into a hillside.

Day 3: Old City Jerusalem
Visit the Temple Mount, Western Wall, and Al-Aqsa Mosque within Jerusalem’s Old City, a site significant to three major religions.

Day 4: More Jerusalem Highlights
Explore further Old City sites including St. Anne's Church, Bethesda Pool, and walk the Via Dolorosa. Visit a Palestinian refugee camp home.

Day 5: Bethlehem and Dead Sea
Travel to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity. On the way, stop to float in the Dead Sea.

Day 6: Transfer to Jordan, Madaba, Mt. Nebo, and Petra
Cross into Jordan via King Hussein (Allenby) border. Visit Mount Nebo, the traditional burial site of Moses, and see the Madaba Mosaic Map at St. George Church.

Day 7: Petra Visit and Wadi Rum
Explore Petra's Siq gorge and see Al-Khazneh (the Treasury), rock-cut tombs, a Roman theater, obelisks, temples, and colonnaded streets.

Day 8: Wadi Rum Exploration
Take a 2-hour 4x4 desert tour through Wadi Rum, an extensive desert landscape largely untouched by development.

Day 9: Wadi Rum and Amman
Ride camels through Wadi Rum for two hours before transferring to Amman. Visit the Citadel, Archaeological Museum, Roman Amphitheater, and Folklore Museum in the city.
