Description
This guided tour explores Jerusalem's main historical sites and includes a visit to Bethlehem, suitable for travelers interested in religious and cultural history.
The tour begins at Jerusalem’s Jaffa Gate with a view of the Tower of David, followed by a walk through the Arab Market. You will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected. The Western Wall, the remaining part of the Temple Mount, is next on the itinerary.
The tour continues to the City of David, the ancient capital ruled by King David over 3,000 years ago. You will also visit the Church of Gethsemane, the site of Jesus’ betrayal and arrest, and ascend the Mount of Olives for panoramic views of Jerusalem. The visit to Mount Zion includes the traditional tomb of King David and the location of the Last Supper.
The final stop is Bethlehem, where the Church of the Nativity marks the birthplace of Jesus. You will also pass the Shepherd's Fields before returning to Jerusalem by bus.
