Description

The walls of Jerusalem have changed throughout the ages. This is a tour to show you the walls of Jerusalem today and also ancient walls that are still standing in some places. We will start the tour at Jaffa gate and go atop the walls of Jerusalem today. We will then visit the Tower of David and talk about the walls from the crusader period, Mameluke period and the Roman period 2,000 years ago! We will also walk through the Armenian quarter and the Jewish Quarter to see the Broad Wall built by King Hezekiah of Judaea. We will end the tour by the Western Wall, the last remains of the Temple Mount wall built by King Hared 2,000 years ago also known as the Wailing Wall.
