Description
Departing early from Jerusalem, this guided tour travels along the Mediterranean coast via Tel Aviv and the Plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. In Nazareth, visit St. Joseph’s Church and the Church of the Annunciation, the largest Roman Catholic church in the Middle East and traditionally the site of the Virgin Mary’s annunciation.
The tour continues to Kafr Kanna to view the Mount of Beatitudes and the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish at Tabgha on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee. You will also visit the nearby ruins of Capernaum’s ancient synagogue.
Stop in Tiberias, one of Judaism’s four holy cities, then drive to Yardenit on the Jordan River for an optional baptismal service. The return route to Jerusalem includes views of Mount Tabor, the location traditionally associated with the Transfiguration of Jesus.

- Pick-up from Jerusalem, with transfer at 5:50 AM to join the tour in Tel Aviv

- Baptism in the Jordan River is optional and must be arranged directly with Yardenit prior to the trip; estimated visit time at Yardenit is 15:30–16:15
