Description

This tour covers the spiritual center for Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, with over 4,000 years of history visible in Jerusalem’s Old City.

The day begins with hotel pickup and a drive to the Mount of Olives for an overview of both the old and new city. You will then travel along the Kidron Valley to the Garden of Gethsemane and enter Western Wall Square via the Armenian Quarter. The route continues through the Bazaar to the Christian Quarter, including the Stations of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Walk along the Byzantine-era main street, the Roman road called The Cardo, and explore the renovated Jewish Quarter. After the city tour, descend through the Judean Hills to the Dead Sea. The drive to the Dead Sea shore is unguided, but there you can swim, float, or enjoy a mineral-rich mud bath.
