Description
Start your tour with panoramic views of Jerusalem’s skyline from Mount Scopus. Enter the Old City through the Zion Gate, dating back 500 years, and explore the Armenian Quarter.
In the Jewish Quarter, walk along the Byzantine-era Cardo and visit the Western Wall. Follow the Via Dolorosa, retracing the path of Jesus, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a 4th-century site encompassing the crucifixion, Christ’s tomb, and sacred relics. Continue through the Old City bazaar.
Next, visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, overlooking the Kidron Valley, which contains ancient Jewish tombs. Pass the Dormition Church on Mount Zion, and visit the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb.
Note: On Mondays and Thursdays (except during Jewish holidays), the tour includes a visit to the Holocaust Museum instead of Mount Zion sites and the Church of All Nations.
