Description
Begin your full-day Jerusalem tour with a stunning panoramic view of the city’s skyline from Mount Scopus.
Enter the Old City through the 500-year-old walls at the Zion Gate and walk into the Armenian Quarter. In the Jewish Quarter, explore the Byzantine-era Cardo and pause at the revered Western Wall. From there, follow the path of Jesus along the Via Dolorosa to the magnificent Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a 4th-century masterpiece that encompasses the sites of the crucifixion, Christ’s tomb, and numerous sacred relics. Continue through the vibrant Old City bazaar.
Next, visit the serene Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, and view the Kidron Valley, home to ancient monumental Jewish tombs. Pass the Dormition Church on Mount Zion and continue to the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb.
Note: On Mondays and Thursdays (except during Jewish holidays), the tour visits the Holocaust Museum instead of Mount Zion sites and the Church of All Nations.
