Description

Start the tour with a panoramic view of Jerusalem’s skyline from Mount Scopus. Enter the Old City through the 500-year-old Zion Gate and explore the Armenian Quarter. Visit the Jewish Quarter to see the Byzantine-era Cardo and the Western Wall, a central place of worship.

Follow the Via Dolorosa, retracing the path of Jesus, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which dates back to the 4th century and encompasses key Christian holy sites including the crucifixion and tomb of Christ. Continue through the Old City bazaar.

The tour proceeds to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, overlooking the Kidron Valley with its ancient Jewish tombs. On Mount Zion, visit the Dormition Church, the Room of the Last Supper, and King David’s Tomb.

Note: On Mondays and Thursdays (except Jewish holidays), the tour replaces the Garden of All Nations and Mount Zion sites with a visit to the Holocaust Museum (Yad Vashem).
