Description

This tour takes you to three wineries located in the Carmel Mountain Ridge, providing a unique opportunity to meet winery owners and winemakers while learning about winemaking techniques and the Central region’s wine history.

Tishbi Winery: Located in Binyamina, it is Israel’s sixth largest winery, producing about 1 million bottles annually. Its wines are exported to 25 countries. The Tishbi family was commissioned by Baron Edmond de Rothschild to plant the first modern vineyard in Israel.

Carmel Winery: A historic winery that shares Israel’s wine industry story, combining traditional 'Old World' and modern 'New World' winemaking methods. Visitors can observe the production process and understand the historical context and evolution of Israeli wines.

Amphorae Winery: Producing around 65,000 bottles annually, this winery was established in 2000. Located in a stone building at the entrance to a Carmel Mountain valley, its Italian farmhouse style reflects Tuscan influences. The winery is managed by an experienced team advised by world-renowned winemaker Michel Rolland and equipped with modern facilities to produce high-quality wines.
